ABSTRACT:
The mobility sector has enormous potential for reducing CO2 emissions and energy storage technologies, especially batteries, make a valuable contribution to this. On the one hand, they are an absolute "game changer" for the individual mobility itself and on the other hand, batteries are also decisive "enablers" in the construction of fast charging infrastructure. The presentation gives an overview of the prevailing regulatory barriers, that have to be tackled and removed in order to unlock the big potential.
