The Joint Project for Hydrogen Mobility in North Frisia
A practical use of renewable energy for emissions-free mobility. The joint project for hydrogen mobility in North Frisia bridges different sectors to demonstrate a new path to value for renewable energy. The project adds value to the region by showing how renewable energy can be refined into portable energy carriert: hydrogen. And best of all, it can be scaled up and introduced to other regions.
The concept: Regional hydrogen in co-operation * Generate (5 x 225kW electrolysis system) * Transport (7 mobile storage containers of 140 kg H2 each) * Use (2 hydrogen gas stations) * Bring to market (2 public transport buses as well as private cars)
