ABSTRACT:
The energy transition does not work without energy storage systems. ENTEGA AG, a pioneer of the German Energiewende, is engaging in several storage business models and focuses on achieving a level playing field for technologies that balance energy generation and consumption. The presentation gives an overview of the main political demands for market-ready storage business models and provides an outlook on the German way how to deal with an almost volatile power system in 2030.
