ABSTRACT:
Sector coupling is a key instrument for the decarbonization of the industrial world. Where (renewable) electricity generation meets mobility, housing and industrial production, different legal regimes do apply and create a complex surrounding for projects in this area. The lecture will set out the current legal framework as well as legislative changes required for a successful implementation of an integrated energy environment.

Dr. Christian Bauer is of Counsel in the Munich office of global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. He studied law at the University of Regensburg and holds a law degree from the University of Hannover.
He specialized in advising on structuring, financing and implementation of complex energy and infrastructure projects. Dr. Christian Bauer has more than 12 years experience in advising national and international developers and investors of large scale energy projects, including energy storage.
