ABSTRACT:
Many vehicle OEMs recently pronounced their ambitious plan to switch from ICE driven vehicles to full electric cars within in the next one or two decades. In addition, digitalisation will have a great impact to automotive industry as well.
Thus, new ways to develop, test and constantly improve electric vehicles are needed. Being the most expensive and complex component, a special attention must be paid to the battery.
This presentation demonstrates our approach towards this new challenge.
VITA:
Alexander Kohs studied physics at university of Tübingen. Since 2011 he has been working for CTC cartech company GmbH as a project manager of several R&D projects in the fields of autonomous driving and battery technologies.
In 2015, he started a work accompanying PHD, about the prediction of state of health, remaining useful time and residual value of lithium ion batteries.
In 2016, he became Team Leader for E-Mobility R&D Projects.
Since 2018, he works at CTC as Head of Engineering.
